Paul Hebert talks Crowdsourcing Employee Engagement Plans

I’m out on the road this week in Denver at the Enterprise Engagement Alliance (EEA) Expo and University Event. The EEA is an organization focused on driving engagement practices across the enterprise – not just employees – but with vendors, partners, customers, resellers. Their point of view is that engagement is, to use a probably overused term, holistic. Adopting an engagement “mindset” around the entire business brings a much better organization for anyone associated with it. I think they are on to something.

I’m here because I wrote one of the chapters in their book, “Enterprise Engagement – The Textbook” and delivered a concurrent session on using social media for engagement. I’m also participating in a “working panel event” where attendees can come and sit with me (and other speakers/experts) and talk specifically about their needs. A very interesting way of doing a conference – knowledge one day – application the next.
