Mad mom sues over denial of breast-feeding accommodation at job

A mother in New Hampshire is suing her former employer over its decision to deny her permission to leave the office every day in order to breast-feed her son. The woman was fired after she failed to return to work when her maternity leave ended. Employers must accommodate breast-feeding mothers by allowing them to pump milk at work, but they do not need to accommodate mothers’ requests to be with their during the workday, legal experts say.
