Innovation in recruiting Part Two – Big data

Innovation in recruitment, a 5 day blog post series by @billboorman. Today “big data” – We have heard it mentioned time and time again, the future of recruiting lies in big data. We throw the word around because, like mobile, it feels important. the most in demand positions in tech companies these days are data analysts, but whilst I can understand the money ball recruiting principle, and embrace looking at trends to understand what is going on, I’m just a little bit concerned that evidence based decision making might just kill risk and innovation, and lead to always the safe option. Just my thoughts.
