Temp Staffing Technology Firm Gets Another $13 Million in Funding

Wonolo – which stands for Work. Now. Locally….has raised a Series B funding round of another $13 million which brings it total funding to $25 million. The company connects companies with hundreds of thousands of vetted workers “within moments”. The new funding comes from VC powerhouse Sequoia Capital. They call themselves the future of temporary staffing, by helping companies address their labor needs in minutes and helping underemployed workers find additional job shifts when they need them. Headquartered in San Francisco, Wonolo serves major metro markets across the United States. The new capital will help Wonolo scale to meet the growing market need for an on-demand staffing marketplace that places underemployed hourly workers with unfilled work shifts at top businesses in retail, manufacturing, shipping and logistics, ecommerce, and other industries.
