Phoenix-based Paradox, the company that brought us recruiting chatbot Olivia, has announced a Series A round of funding. Investors were not disclosed, but the company now has an new $13.34 million in the bank. Previous to the investment, Founder Aaron Matos was bankrolling the company, which is a sister company to old-timey job board Jobing.com and career-site solution Recruiting.com.
In addition to funding, Paradox announced more growth is coming, with a doubling of staff in 2019 and new offices in Dallas and Chicago. Said founder and CEO Aaron Matos, “We have a big vision for how we can transform recruitment and the talent experience with assistive intelligence. We’re still early on that journey.” And added “We focus on putting our clients first on our mission to be the most candidate-centric company in the world.”
