The vast majority of employers (93%) have pre-hire processes and tools in place, but fewer than half view their tools as good (40%) or excellent (5%). One of the primary challenges in regard to pre-hire technologies is integration, with just 16% saying the components of their pre-hire tools are well-integrated.
The free research report, The State of Pre-Hire Tools and Systems, is now available for download. HR.com’s Research Institute conducted the study to better understand recruitment processes and to examine how HR professionals view the pre-hire tools they are using to help meet their hiring challenges in 2020.
Further investigation reveals the most widely used pre-hire assessments are skills assessment tests (61%), job-related knowledge tests (47%), and personality tests (43%).
