Like most in the recruiting industry I always have LinkedIn open in my web browser and visit it frequently throughout the day. Lately I am becoming more aware of its shortcomings in the user experience department that have been nagging me. I hope someone from LinkedIn reads this and takes these ideas back to the powers that be. 1. We Need a Better Activity Dashboard There needs to be better statistics and insights on what we post. The current level of info is insufficient to understand which of our posts, articles and activity is performing best. Why is their no “reach” metric? Why must I scroll through my activity page that looks like a typical feed? Show me numbers in a clear, easy to read snapshot and let me drill-down into each post. They also need a ‘Likes’ column. 2.
